The Conservation Center and Elsewhere Studios are seeking a local artist to create a public art installation on a fence at the Paonia River Park in the summer of 2014. The artist’s Residency Fee at Elsewhere for the month of July and up to $2,000 in project materials will be funded by the Conservation Center. They will also be given a $500 living stipend for general living expenses.
This is a special opportunity for a local artist to create a lasting landmark for their community, work next to the beautiful North Fork River, and retreat to the enchanting Elsewhere Studios for a month.
