Support Conservation this Giving Season

By Karen Tarnow 1 year ago

WSCC is excited to announce its Week of Giving 2022, which encompasses Giving Tuesday on Nov. 29th and Colorado Gives Day on Dec. 6th. During this week, Coloradans and those who love Colorado come together to raise funds for local nonprofits. Every gift is tax-deductible and is incredibly important in helping us reach our annual fundraising goals.

Make your donation today or any day through December 6th via the Colorado Gives website.

WSCC’s efforts to protect and enhance the lands, air, water and wildlife of the Western Slope are more vital now than ever before. Read about our important work and accomplishments in our 2022 Fundraising Appeal letter.

There are many ways to support WSCC – – through volunteering, advocating for public lands protections, and donating, and we appreciate it all! Participating in this fundraising campaign is one of the many ways you can make a real difference. We’re asking you to consider making a donation during the Week of Giving to make a difference on our public lands and in the lives of our community.

Your donation increases WSCC’s odds of winning one of the many cash prizes offered by Colorado Gives Days sponsors, as well as earning us a portion of the $1.6 million Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund. All participating Colorado Gives Day nonprofits earn a percentage of the fund, so the more we raise, the more we get. Colorado Gives also accepts donations involving IRA distributions, Donor Advised Funds, and gifts of stock. Information on how to use any of these methods is available at this link.
