You know those movies where the kids get together and do something awesome? This is one of those movies. Except this one really happened.
How the Kids Saved the Parks is one of 10 family-friendly short films we will be showing during our Wild & Scenic Matinee, at 2pm on November 16 at the Paradise Theater in Paonia. You’ll see more than kids saving the parks. Kids also respond to climate change. They create art for the environment. They find freedom. They make a difference.
See how at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Bring your family, friends, and young ones out for this hour-long matinee of 2013’s best environmental films, chosen specifically with children in mind. Check out the nine other matinee films. Tickets are sold at the door — $5 for children under 18 and $8 for adults. After the matinee, get ready for winter at the second annual North Fork Gear Swap, from 3-5pm at Paonia Town Hall
There is also an evening program with over two hours of environmental adventure. Check out the full festival schedule, get your tickets in advance at 204 Poplar in Paonia, or call Brian for more details. 527-5307 x206
