We are grateful to the Western Colorado Conservation Corps crew who came through the North Fork Valley a few weeks ago to clear new trail corridor for us! This was the first stage of a project to build a new trail at the Paonia K-8 school, in collaboration with The Nature Connection, the town of Paonia and Delta County 50J school district. Next week, a WCCC crew will be back for a month to build the new, half-mile loop trail. This project fulfills an objective of the school district’s Flight of the Eagle Master Plan.
