Take a hike. Better yet, how about 3 hikes! This spring the Conservation Center is teaming up with Western Colorado Congress and The Wilderness Society to host a series of hikes designed to showcase BLM lands in Delta County with important conservation and recreation values. The hikes are free to the public.
The hikes will focus on resource conflicts and a range of long-term management solutions that the BLM will consider as part of the upcoming draft Resource Management Plan.
The first hike is in the Adobe Badlands on Sunday, April 21. For a carpool, meet at the Delta City Market Parking lot at 2pm. Click here for more information about the Adobe Badlands.
