WSCC 2019 Annual Meeting – “Being a Beneficial Species”
Join fellow Conservation Center members, volunteers, and staff to review 2018 accomplishments and prepare for the year ahead.

The Conservation Center’s annual membership meeting will take place on THURSDAY, March 28, 2019 from 6-8pm at Edesia Community Kitchen in Paonia. This is your chance to connect with Conservation Center board, staff, and fellow members to provide input on the direction of our organization! We’ll provide pizza and salads, and we will have beer and wine available for purchase.
WSCC is a member driven organization. The Annual Meeting is the best time to put in your two cents on upcoming programs and projects. We want to hear from new members, long time members, members with kids and members who we have never met!
This year the Annual Meeting format is all about you!
- 6-7pm – Business Meeting – recap of 2018, a look at the proposed 2019 budget, vote on new board members, a preview of 2019 programming and events
- 7-8pm – “Get to Know Your Niche” – We will host a variety of small group breakout sessions on a variety of topics ranging from citizen science initiatives, energy & climate, back country and watershed work and how we can better grow our WSCC community, and more!
We’ll also hear from our good friends at Empowered Energy Systems on an exciting new way you can go solar while supporting the Conservation Center!
