Come to “APPY” HOUR at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 13th at the Western Slope Conservation Center!
It will be our first gathering of WSCC friends who are eager to learn how to use apps on their smart phones to enhance their outdoor experiences. Nicholas Turner has agreed to be our SME (Subject Matter Expert) and demonstrate some of his favorite hiking apps that have helped him identify mountains, elevations, distances, wildlife, and — oh yeah — how to keep from getting lost in the wilderness.
You are encouraged to BYO Beverage, BYO Favorite app discoveries, and BYO Questions, both basic and high tech. Someone around the table is sure to have some answer! You no longer need to be wondering about the name of that ridge, or that flower, or that trail. There’s an APP for everything!
