When the weather is hot and the water is cool, there’s only one thing to do: get down to the Paonia River Park and splash around!
The Paonia River Park is just a quarter mile from Paonia, and it is one of the few public access points along the North Fork. Peruse the diftwood caught in the willows, explore the the river bank, dunk in the swimming hole, and relax on the beach! We love our River Park, and we know you will too (if you don’t already)!
Just like any park, respect your fellow visitors. That means keeping your dog under control, packing out any trash, leaving your glass containers at home, and just being your friendly self! And of course, stay safe and aware at all times.
